Solicitor Los Angeles, California Dear Ed; Las Vegas - June 28, 1943 W 5-6-2 Referring to our telephone conversation today-regarding comparison of wage payments for January 1, 1941 and the present time. I enclose a copy of the Time Roll on which I have shown the rates for present employees. The changes in personnel during this period were as follows; Ila Bryan replaced Mary Marinovich as Clerk Steno and Mrs. Bessie Terry replaced Olive Roberts. Harry Stollsteimer replaced A. M. Folger, the latter being promoted to Superintendent. The guards were added in Feb. 1942, after Colored Infantry was pulled out of the wells and springs. Their rate per hour is the same but they now work twelve hours a day instead of the original eight at 621 cents per hour. You will note the stenographers originally received $117 per month. This was changed to a flat rate of $125 per month October 1, 1941; to$L45.40 in December, 1941 in the general increase to Clerks; and to $160.00 September 16, 1942. Yours very truly,
