Bowen and one other watchman (John W. Cleveland) were employed to prevent pilferage to the General Motors Building, Leonis and Boyle Avenu«, Los Angeles, damaged by fire. They were each assigned 12—hour shifts and paid at straight time after 8 hours. While we have not yet been advised the basis for his claim, I assume it has reference to the question as to whether the Fair Labor Standard Act is applicable to Las yegas Land and Water Company. cc: Mr, Frank Strong
