Water situation - Las Vegas. Los Angeles, California. May 17, 1929. Mr. A. S. Halsted: You have copy of Mr. R. L. Adamson's report of May 16th relative to the above, which covers the situation. We had an opportunity to examine on the ground all sources of water, the methods of application and the present uses to which it is being applied, and contemplated uses on adjacent subdivisions. Mr. C. K. Smith, special representative of the President, after viewing the situation and discussing the matter from various angles with Messrs. R. L. Adamson, L. T. Jackson, Walter Bracken, and ourselves, approved of the plans,outlined in Mr. Adamson's report, for furnishing at wholesale rates the various subdivisions who have now applica' tions pending, and such others as it may be determined from time to time should have water service. of bringing it about was deferred until the executives come here in June. « The matter of increase of flat rates and the method CC to Mr.F.H.Knickerbocker Mr.R.L.Adamson Mr.Walter Bracken Mr. Leo A.McNamee.
