Cancels Original Sheet PSCN N0 -6A. 9(h) Defense Housing Projects: Subject to the approval of the Public Service Commis-ion, the Company will enter into contracts for the refund of the cost of constructing water mains, advanced by others, to (serve) Defense Housing Projects, located in the present city limits of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, but within a distance from the Company’s nearest existing water main, ecjual to not more than 20 feet multiplied by the number of houses^constructed within such project. A Defense Housing Project within the meaning of this rule is a project under which the party contracting with the Company constructs within a subdivision, the plat of which has been filed with the County Recorder of Clark County, Nevada, not less than twenty (20) dwelling houses, but at least one dwelling house for each seventy (70) feet of such water mains con­structed to and within such subdivision. Such contract shall provide that such water mains shall be constructed at the cost of the party contracting with the Company and under the supervision and in accord­ance with the customary specifications of the Company; that such water mains shall be owned, operated, and maintained by the Water Company upon the completion of the construction thereof and that the Company shall refund to the party contracting with the Company the cost thereof * if and when said party shall have completed the construction of /-®uah-defense hotrsikg projoot^4be-^-e^eia~d‘ef-4a^d, within 24 months from the date of such contract.y^This rule shall remain in effect only during the present National Bnergency. Refunds on projects other than De­fense Housing projects as herein defined, shall be made in accordance with existing rules of the Company. 10. The Company may charge Five and no/lOOth Dollars ($5.00) for each tapping of water mains, to be paid by the owner or consumer ordering the same. 11. Flat monthly rates for any service not herein specifically rated shall be fixed by special contract, subject to the approval of the Public Service Commission.
