c La* Vegas * Oetob«r 7^.1g52 (U 10 1952 Mr* We* Reinhardt * Los Angeles cot Mr* i* 1* Bennett - Los Ange & Referring to your letter of October 2, 1952, File 1-7334, regarding complaint filed with the Public Service Commission by Herbie Dell, concerning Monthly Rate of 110,80 charged for service at 1209# South Third Street, Las Vegas, Nevada* Our records indicate that for several years there has been two houses, each with toilet and bath, located upon this lot* Recently Mr* Bell advised he had constructed a. duplex each unit with toilet and bath also upon the property, and pursuant to Rate Ifo 34 we charged him* for four units with toilet and b&th at #2.?G each or & total of #10.80 per month. Following receipt of Mr* Dell’s complaint we have checked the improvements and find he hast 1 - Residence consisting of 5 room# with toilet and bath* 3 - Single Apartments each with combination living roomr bedroom, kitchenette, toilet and bath. all located upon a single lot with approximately 3000 square feet of lawn and shrubbery, We were in error in charging #10.So per month for the four units, The rate should be as followst te Mo. This p r o p e r ty is typical of numerous other properties locally upon which the owner lias & home and has constructed additional rental units upon the same lot* In such cases it ha® been our practice for the home and each unit at the applicable rate.
