Smith and Mae Elizabeth Smith, husband and wife, title to Lots 13 and 14 in Block 1 of Tract No. 1997, Town of Yermo, County of San Bernardino, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 22, Page 29 of Maps, Records of said County; total sale price of $465.00, to be paid in cash upon delivery of deed; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly made and seconded, It was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong in executing and delivering on behalf of Las Vegas Land and Water Company, letter of understanding, dated July 1,5, 1939, addressed to Mrs. Florence Johnson, 17 South Fourth Avenue, Arcadia, California, granting permission to occupy and use for dwelling purposes that pertain house, situated at said Address, being property of this Company, for term of one year, commencing July 17, 1939, at rental of $18.00 per month, payable in advance; subject to termination by either party upon thirty days' written notice; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. - 17-
