On motion duly made and seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong in executing and delivering letter-agreement, C. L. D. No. 2571, dated June 9, 1939, addressed to Lynch Construction Company, 730 East Gage Avenue, Los Angeles, California, cover ing the furnishing of necessary superintendence, labor, materials, tools and equipment, and making certain alteration in this company's Vegetable Shed No. 3, located at 777 South Mission Road, Los Angeles, California; as consideration the Land Company agreeing to pay: ( a ) A c t u a l c o s t o f l a b o r p a y r o l l , ( b ) A c t u a l c o s t o f m a t e r i a l s , (c) Fifteen percent (15$) of actual cost of labor and materials, ( d ) R e i m b u r s e m e n t o f c o s t o f p e r m i t a n d l i c e n s e f e e s , s a l e s a n d / o r u s e t a x , i f a p p l i c a b l e , p a y ­r o l l t a x e s a n d i n s u r a n c e p a i d b y C o n t r a c t o r ; total cost to Land Company not to exceed the sum of #650.00; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly made and seconded, it was RESOLVEDtJjSht the action of Vice President Strong in executing and delivering agreement, dated June 15, 1939, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company, Licensor, and State Relief Administration, Licensee, granting license to use a parcel of land of this company, located at East Los Angeles and lying north of UPRRCo. tracks, between Indiana Street and South Rowan Street, for use in the grow­ing of vegetables thereon, for period of one year from and -14-
