Hendricks, Contractor, Los Angeles, California, covering the relocating and rearranging of approximately 550 feet of water lines to serve washing tanks in new location in this Company's Vegetable Shed No. 3, Los Angeles, California; consideration $264.50; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of President in executing lease agreement, Audit No. 10101, dated October 1, 1940, between Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad Company and Union Pacific Railroad Company, collectively called Lessor, and Las Vegas Land and Water Company, Lessee, covering 25,230 square feet of land, located near Fifth Street and Mission Road, Los Angeles, California, (leased to Acme Fast Freight, Inc. under LVL&WCo. C. A. No. 10095, to be used for the handling of merchandise shipments), for term beginning November 1, 1940, and extending to January 2, 1948; rental $706.44 per annum, payable in advance; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of President and Assistant Secretary teatthat in executing on behalf of this Company easement, Deed Audit No. 4476, dated October 7, 1940, granting to the City of Los Angeles right-of-way for 7*6" reinforced concrete arch culvert for drainage purposes, located north of Elliott Street, near Mission Road, Los Angeles, California; consideration $1.00; be, and the same -4-
