On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong in executing letter-agreement, NLD 838, dated March 31, 1942, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company and W. J. Rhoads, covering the construction and laying of approximately 1176 feet of 10” cast iron water main, paralleling present 10M cast iron main on Clark Street, Las Vegas, Nevada, and connections therewith; consideration $2,116.00, plus actual cost of premium on surety bond and premium on public liability insurance; Water Company to furnish, without cost to said W. J. Rhoads, f„o.b. cars Las Vegas, Nevada, all necessary pipe, valves, fittings and material for said work; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Ashby and Assistant Secretary Rigdon in executing deed, nNwL,D. 841, dated April 13, 1942, from Las Vegas Land and Water Company to Las Vegas, Nevada, B. P. 0, Elks, No. 1468, conveying 6 <6 acres of land in SE^- of SEj, Section 27, Twp. 20 S., Range 61 E., MDB&M, Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada; consideration $>10.00 and other valuable consideration; subject to State, County and City taxes for the fiscal year 1939 and subsequent thereto; All existing encroachments upon and along the south side of said premises; All encumbrances made or suffered by said Elks subsequent to March 20, 1939; —16-
