    On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Bracken in executing on behalf of this Company, letter-agreement, N.L.D. 906, dated August 31, 1942, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company and Wallace & Wallace, Contractors, cover­ing the furnishing of water, not in excess of 100,000 gallons per day, to said Contractors, in connection with the construc­tion of secondary road between Las Vegas, Nevada, and Basic Magnesium plant at Royson, Nevada, for period of 90 days from August 26, 1942; said water to be furnished Contractors at rate of 15/ per thousand gallons; subject to termination by this Company without notice for cause, and upon ten daysK written notice without cause; be, and the same is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Ashby and Assistant Secretary Rigdon in executing agreement, C.A. No. 10204, dated August 31, 1942, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company, called '’Company’*, and Roy Shipley and Elmer Nelson, called "Contractor”, covering the construction, at Contractor's expense of approximately 1750 ft. of water mains and laterals to and within Block 8 of Mayfair Tract No. 2, Las Vegas, Nevada, at estimated cost of $3,920.00; Company, upon completion by Contractor of the construction of at least thirty-five dwelling houses in said Block 8, and other con­ditions, to pay Contractor the actual cost, not exceeding $3,920.00, of laying and constructing said water mains and be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. -7-
