RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Ashby :Ln executing agreement, Audit Ho, 10222, dated January'8, 1943, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company, called "Land Company", Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad Company and Union Pacific Railroad Company, called "Railroad Company", and A. 0. Smith Corporation, called "Purchaser", granting option to purchase 18.8 acres of land, adjoining Purchaser's present location, situated in the County of Los Angeles, California, being a por- 'tion of Lot 1, Tract 7777, East Los Angeles, California, said option to be exercised on or before December 31, 1945, in which event, purchase price of said parcel of land to be $3500 per acre, or total of $65,800; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Ashby and Assistant Secretary Rigdon in executing on behalf of LVL&WCo. agreement, C.L.D. No. 4616, dated January 25, 1943, consenting to assignment, effective Nov. 1, 1942, by John Curci, L. A. Turner and T. R. Blackwell, copartners, doing business under the firm name and style of "Orange Belt Fruit Distributors", called "Assignors", of all their right, title and interest in and to that certain agreement between said Assignors and the Land Company, dated December 3, 1941, (C.A. No. 10155), covering sale and purchase of certain land, located at Walnut and Pomona Avenues, Fullerton, California, together with packing house, machinery and equipment located thereon, to John Curci and L.
