    RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Ashby and Assistant Secretary Rigdon in executing agreement, N.L.D. 991a, dated May 29, 1943, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company, called "Company’1, and Francis D. Griffin, Norman K. Winston, Rosita Winston, Thomas A. Oakey and Thomas H. Lewis, Co-partners, doing business under the name of Huntridge Dev­elopment Company, called "Contractor", covering the construc­tion and laying of approximately 2200 ft. of cast iron water mains, laterals and service lines to and within Huntridge Sub­division, Unit No. 6, Las Vegas, Nevada, and connecting same to this Company's water mains adjacent to said Unit, at ap­proximate cost of $5,782.00; Company, upon completion of con­struction of at least 44 dwelling houses in said Unit No. 6 and certain other conditions, to pay Contractor the actual cost of labor and materials used in laying and constructing said water mains, laterals and service lines, but not exceeding the sum of $5,782.00; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approv­ed and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong and Secretary in executing rider, C.L.D. 5053, dated June 2, 1943, extending to July 16, 1944, term of letter-agreement Audit 9995, dated July 15, 1939, expiring July 16, 1943, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company and Mrs. Florence Johnson, covering lease of dwelling house at 17 South 4th Avenue, Arcadia, Calif.; rental $18.00 per month, payable monthly in advance; subject to termination by either party upon 30 days » written notice; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed.
