exercise said option, Land Company further agreeing that time for performance by either party of any obligation contained in said agreement of May 11, 1943, shall be extended for period of thirty days from date stated in said agreement; in consideration for such extension, Purchaser to pay Land Company the sum of $500, which sum is to be applied upon purchase price if said transaction is completed, but is not refundable in the event transaction is not consummated; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Ashby and Assistant Secretary Rigdon in executing agreement, N.L.D. 990, dated May 19, 1943, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company, called "Company”, and Francis D. Griffin, Norman K. Winston, Rosita Winston, Thomas A. Oakey and Thomas H. Lewis, Co-partners, doing business under the name of Huntridge Development Company, called "Contractor”, covering the construction and laying of approximately 7580 ft. of cast iron water mains, laterals and service lines to and within Huntridge Subdivision Tract 5, Las Vegas, Nevada, connecting same to this Company's water mains in Franklin Ave. and in Block 21 of Huntridge Subdivision Tract 4, at approximate cost of $21,538.00; Company, upon completion of construction of at least 175 dwelling houses in said Hunt-ridge Subdivision Tract 5 and certain other conditions, to pay Contractor the actual cost of labor and material used in constructing and laying said water mains, laterals and service lines, but not exceeding the sum of $21,538.00; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. -6-
