V behalf of this Company in executing Consent to Assignment, dated April 30, 1945, by V-0 Milling Company of all interest in lease, dated October 1, 1943, Audit No. 10258, from LVL&WCo., covering a portion of Lot 60, Union Pacific Tract, Los Angeles, California, to be used for the storage and repair of trucks, to The Quaker Oats Company, by instrument dated April 16, 1945; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. Following Authority for Expenditure Requests, approved by the President, were submitted for ratification: W.O. #521, issued May 9, 1945; Los Angeles, Calif.; retirement of Lots 11 to 15, inclusive, Union Pacific Tract No. 1, sold to Durham Corporation, as per Deed Audit No. 4726. Ledger Value of Property Retired and Not to be Replaced Creditable to Real Estate Sold, $14,732; Sale price of land, $18,579; Profit on Sales of Real Estate-Credit, $3,847; Estimated cost of removal of property retired chargeable to O.E., $102; Profit on Sales of Real Estate-Debit, $102. A.F.E. No. 3 (W.O. #522), issued June 5, 1945; Las Vegas, Nev.; construct 270 ft. of 8" and 2300 ft. of 6" water lines to servo Charleston Square Subdivision located in vicinity of 15th Street and Charleston Blvd. Total estimated expenditure, $6,509, chargeable to Investment in Water System. Whereupon, on motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of President in approving the aforementioned Work Orders be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed.
