On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Reinhardt in executing agreement, dated April 24, 1952, with Otis Elevator Company, covering maintenance of one passenger elevator (Machine No. 229103), in Union Pacific Building, 422 West Sixth Street, L03 Angeles, California; said service to commence June 15, 1952, and continue for period of five years and from year to year thereafter until terminated; said agreement being subject to termination by either party at the end of the first five years or at the end of any subsequent year by giving the other party 90 days’ prior written notice; contract price, $41.10 per month, payable monthly, subject to adjustment at the end of each year; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Reinhardt in executing lease agreement C.L.D. No. 11033, dated May 15, 1952, with Lida R. Epperson and Lawrence J. Eby, doing business as Acme House Moving Company, Lessee, covering site near 23rd Street and California Avenue, Long Beach, California, to be used as site for storage of material and equipment, for term beginning May 1, 1952, and extending to May 1, 1957; rental $300.00 per annum, payable semi-annually in advance; subject to termination by either party upon 50 days’ written notice; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed.
