    II 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 W m P R O C L A M A T I O N WHEREAS, the rapid growth of the City of Lae Yogas has created an excessive draw on the water facilities because of the excessive use of water and it appears there say be a critical shortage in the City of Las Yogas unless steps are taken to alleviate the ease; and WHEREAS, the continued growth and prosperity of this City depends on an adequate water supply and conservation of the existing supply of water; and WHEREAS, the Las Yogas Yalley Water District and the Lae Yogas Land and Water Company are in the process of drilling new wells for the furnishing of an additional supply of water until such time as Lake Head water can be made available; and WH&SSAS, this additional source of water will not be available to the residents of Las Yogas for sons time; and WEOREAS, the continued excessive use of water may cause a serious health menace and the possibility of disaster by fire; and WHEREAS, the Board of City Commissioners believe that the civic pride of the citizens of Las Yogas will make voluntary conservation measures effective and such measures will result in alleviating the present water shortage; and WHEREAS, the Board of Commiesloners feel that the use oE water in accordance with the schedule set forth below is uniform; and a fair and impartial conservation method, HOW, THEREFORE, I, REED WHIPPLE, Mayor Pro Tea, do here­by proclaim that the watering of lawns, trees, gardens and the uso of water for other agricultural purposes by home owners in Las Yogas shall be done on the following dates for the period of May 1, 1954, to September 15, 1954.
