Walter Bratsk en, iius Vegas, levada* Ke-v Mrs • Mink* Bear 3irs I t seeins to me that Mrs* Mink has misrepresent ed every* thing in question* To begin with , prior to my lease and on the twenty*©ighth day of June this year, when the 8 x 10 shaok wag on the truck ready to unload alongside the creek, I stated to Mrs .Mink and Mr. Mink, that 1 had no authority at present, I eapeeted to get the lease on the ground in that v ic in ity , and i f I did I could not l e t a building of that type rema&n on the ground, and surely not facing the railroad , as the railroa d company would not allow i t * Mrs* Mink stated she had paid the rent, and was going to stay* When you and I went to see her on Sunday, and you to ld her she could not keep tin building there and would haws to move further away from the creek, she stated they were out of money and could not move or build a more presentable building# A fter I received my lease on or about July 24, and Ithen we went to c a ll on Mrs# Mink, she stated they were out of money,but i f you would buy her out she would get o f f the property* She o f* fered to pay then* ©nt, and you stated you could accept no rent on that ground mat I could rent to her at a point about One Hundred (100} fe e t over, in event that she would more that shack end put up a suitable building, or a front on the shack that was presentable* I agreed to rent to her, and a gain she stated she had no money* As to h<ar remark that I want to put a building there, that is a l l wroaag, as that is not covered in my lease* P«S*A shack and tent o f that type is a disgrace to any street and vary unsightly from the railroad* These people are evidently o f the wrong type to have on ground at any price* Tours very tru ly, J.WARREH WOODARD jww/r (Signed) J*W*Woodard* J*W.W*
