V rental 1300.00 per annum, payable annually in advance, said lease may be terminated, entirely or partially, by written notice given by either the Lessor or the Lessee on any date in such notice stated, not less, however, than ten (10) days subsequent to the date on which such notice shall be given; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Payne and Secretary Dixon in executing Agreement of Compromise and Settlement and Mutual Release of Claims by and between Defendants in United States of America v. Anchor Oil Corporation, et al., No. 600-56 HW Civil in the United States District Court, Southern District of California, Central Division, in the form submitted to this meeting, providing for the mutual release of claims both past and future by reason of any subsidence or other movement of land and waiving any right to reimbursement or recoupment with respect to amounts contributed to the settlement of the above entitled action as set forth therein, be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed.
