Water Company does remise, release and quitclaim unto the First Methodist Church of Las Vegas, Nevada, all right, title and interest in the following described land, situate in the County of Clark, State of Nevada, to-wits Lots Fourteen (14), Fifteen (1 5 ) and Sixteen (16) in Block Twenty-nine (§9 ), of Clark's Las Vegas Townsite, being a subdivision of parts of Sections Twenty-seven (27) and Thirty-four (34), Township 20 South, Range 6l East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, as per map of said Townsite, recorded in the office of the County Recorder of Lincoln County, State of Nevada, be, and the same hereby is, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of President Stoddard and Assistant Secretary Bachman in executing C.L.D. 1479*1-, agreement dated May 4, 1964, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company and Security Insurance Company of New Haven, that on payment of $21,754.20, Security Insurance Company of New Haven shall be deemed payment in full of all the monies due J. P. S. Contracting Co., Inc. under contract dated October 10, 1962, Identified as Las Vegas Land and Water Company Contract Audit No. 109IS, due to J. P. S. Contracting Co., Inc. failure to make payment of certain labor and materials and failure to obtain certain Insurance required under said construction agreement, Security Insurance Company of New Haven to indemnify Las Vegas Land and Water Company, Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad Company, and the Union Pacific Railroad Company, and hold said companies harmless from and against any and all claims by said J. P. S. Contracting Co., Inc., be, and the same is hereby, confirmed, ratified and approved. - 3 -
