V work in the area easterly from Turnbull Canyon Road, in City of Industry, California, at an estimated cost of $29,969»00» work to be done to the satisfaction of Chief Engineer or his authorized representative, Contractor to indemnify and save harmless the Land Company against liability for loss, cost, claims and damages because of injury to or death of persons, and damage to or destruction of property; partial payment to be made on basis of estimate of work performed during preceding calendar month, Land Company to retain ten percent (10$) until work is completed and accepted; contract to be effective November 26, 1 9 6 5 , an<^ work to be completed approximately ninety (9 0 ) days thereafter; be, and the same Is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed.
