X condition and repair at all times, at its expense, indemnifying Land Company, and should San Gabriel at any time abandon the use of the described lands, or fail to use same for a continuous period of one year, the easement shall cease and Land Company shall have the right to resume exclusive possession; San Gabriel to submit plans and specifications for any construction or maintenance work for its extension; easement granted is subject and subordinate to any rights granted by Land Company to City of Industry and/or to the County of Los Angeles; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Payne and Secretary Dixon in executing agreement C.L.D. No. 15^7 dated May 3> 1966, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company and General Telephone Company of California, a California corporation, granting license to construct, maintain, operate, repair and use one (1) 900 pair cable for the transmission of electricity for telephone purposes, over and across certain property of Land Company at Walnut, California, subject to removal upon sixty (6 0 ) days written notice; consideration $10.00 per annum; Licensee at its expense to maintain cable and indemnify Land Company, and upon dedication of Grand Avenue, Licensee shall at its expense remove all aerial facilities and establish an underground conduit system within the confines of said Grand Avenue; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. -3-
