shall continue to pay when due, all real property taxes and assessments levied against the property subject to the lease, and effective as of April 19, 1967 Carson shall hold Land Company harmless and indemnify Land Company from and against liability involving injury to or death of persons, also damage to or destruction of property arising out of or in any way connected with oil and gas operations on that portion of the property subject to the lease; and that agreement shall be binding upon the parties hereto, their successors and assigns; be, and the same is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President T. E. Hammill in executing extension rider C. L. D. No. 15807-1, dated April 26, 1968, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company and BT. Villanueva and M. L. Fajardo, individuals, extending term of agreement Contract Audit No. 11067, lease of site for growing crops, to and including June 30, 1969 at Dominguez, Los Angeles County, California, at rental for the extended term, of $1,000.00 per annum, payable annually in advance; that all terms and conditions of original agreement shall remain in full force and effect; lease terminable on thirty days notice; be, and the same is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed. -9-
