• * 4 4 \ furnished, and Lessee indemnifies and holds harmless Lessor and Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad Company and Union Pacific Rail­road Company against liabilities for loss, costs, claims, and damages because of injury to or death of persons and damage to or destruction of property, arising out of or in any way connected with Lessee’s operations on the leased area; and at Lessor’s discretion, Lessee shall at its expense procure insurance in companies, amounts, and on terms satisfactory to Lessor; coverage, as set forth, to extend to adjacent industrial property, and any personal injury that should occur thereon; upon termination, at Lessee’s expense, the surface of the ground shall be restored to its former condition; be, and the same is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed# On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President J.W.Godfrey and Assistant Secretary P. A# Schmitz in executing agreement, bearing C. L. D, No. 15858-1, dated May 1, 1968 amending Bill of Sale Audit No. 11081, from Las Vegas Land and Water Company to J. E. Shope and Eva J. Shope, dba Yermo Water Company, covering sale of water distribution system at Yermo, San Bernar­dino County, California to provide for payment extension by substituting the following paragraph in lieu of paragraph 2 of page 2 of agreement referred to above, as follows: -6-
