A. Blonds, Bill SUert,' Bob Kaltenbom, 'Bob Russell,'Jack Walsh, Marion Hicks, A_ E» Cahlan, Jimmy Down, Jr,, E. M. Smith, P. A. Simon and J. H. Wittwer. Bryan Bunker and his committee gave further report on steps now under way to secure and employ a managing director for the Chamber of Commerce, The directors reaffirmed this action and instructed the committee tb proceed in finding a man with the required qualifications and experience needed to carry out the extensive promotional program planned for the community. * $ * * * LAST MEETING — Since the Community Chest drive will raise revenue for all cooperating agencies which serve and benefit Las Vegas, the lone—hand campaign of the Salvation Army should be discouraged from a community standpoint. So said Secretary Ira Goldring in reporting on the attitude of the Community Chest in this regard*, "Contribution to the Salvation Army •— which has refused invitations to become part of the community campaign — can'be the privilege of the individual according to his personal feelings”, Mr. Goldring suggested, He said Cyril Wengert had explained that the use of the First National.
