I think Leo is ducking the problem, although what he quotes from the contract is correct. It is my idea that the paragraph about proration of taxes which he quotes means such taxes as are legally a lien upon the property or assessed upon the property at the time the assessment is made, which I understand is the first of the year; and it is my thought that if we could get their support, the District could have all the taxes wiped out.
