% 6 - i ) £. £. B. FEB 13 1956 Los Angolas * February 10, 1956 569 Mr* A* C. Ritter - Omaha: (eo * Mr* B* B* Bennett - Los Angeles) Mr* Bennett advised m today that the Las Vegas Water District has indicated they are willing to reconvey to the Railroads the pump house site in Section 28, Township 20 S., Range 61 B«, M*D*B*&M. at Las Vegas, Nevada* This puaqp house site was conveyed by LA&SLRRCo. to DPRRCo. by Deed Audit No* 535** and UPRRCo. to Las Vegas Valley Water District by UPRRCo. Land Sold Deed Audit No. 2311* This transaction was covered by LAASL Work Order No* 570** Issued November 2h, 195*** As this small parcel of land is surrounded by acreage owned by LA&SL, it appears that the title should revest in LA&SLRRCo. Xt may be that we can arrange to have the conveyance made by the District direct to the LAASLRRGo* instead of through the Union Pacific as was done at the time of the sale* Please advise if there are any objections to such procedure* If the District feels that the property should be conveyed to the Union Pacific, 1 assume intercompany deed can be later prepared.
