Bennett v Further in connection with my letter of April 2?th relative to restrictions on the use of water during the coming Summer season. of Proclamation issued by Mayor Pro-Tem Reed Whipple, which is dated April 21, 195^* 1 am also sending you herewith copy of newspaper clipping from the Las Vegas Sun dated April 29* which comments on the Proclamation but does not print the Proclamation as issued. to me to be rather mild and when Mr. Rounthwaite, City Manager, called to deliver a copy of the Proclamation I suggested that in order to emphasise the waste of the water situation that Mr. Rounthwaite give some publicity to the City ordnance which prohibits wasting water as indicated in the last paragraph of the clipping.
