Fir s t National Bank Las Y egas Branch Trust Department NEVADA O F Las Vegas, Nevada June 21, 1954 Mr . E . E . Bennett Law Department Union Pacific Railroad Company 422 West Sixth Street Los Angeles 14, California Re: Your No. 80-11 Dear Mr'. Bennett: This will acknowledge receipt of your letter of June 18th delivered by Mr. Calvin Cory together with eleven documents. We have receipted to Mr. Cory as requested by you. We have advised the Las Vegas Valley Water District and its attorneys, Mr. Franklin Hamilton and Mr. Leo McNamee of the receipt by us of the Escrow Instructions and documents. We enclose carbon copies of these. In addition, we telephoned Mr. Miller at the Water District office this afternoon informing him of the receipt of the Escrow Instructions and your request that the District promptly execute the three originals. Mr. Miller advises the writer that on June 25, 1954 there will be a meeting of the Water District Board at which time an appropriate resolution will be obtained authorizing the signing of the Escrow Instructions. In accordance with your instructions, we shall execute the acceptance of the Escrow when signed by the District; one copy will be sent to the District, one to you and the original retained for our guidance. We also wish to acknowledge your letter of June 18th enclosing the three amendments to the Escrow Instructions. One copy has been made available this afternoon to Mr. Nelson Conway, Auditor for the District. There is enclosed a copy of our letter to Pioneer Title Insurance and Trust Company of today. We believe the Title Company has already commenced preparation of the report regarding easements, etc. pursuant to other instructions received by them from you. It may be that our date of June 1, 1953 is incorrect and we have mentioned this to the Title Company. It would appear that this date should have been July 1, 1954 the date of Our Escrow No. 12-1905
