Johnson For a great m&ny years the of floe of the Water Company at W s seen used as a local office not only for the handling cl .-latters pertaining to the operations of the Water Company * a m alas for the handling of Blatters which pertain to operations of the Railroad Company, Insofar as they refer to local land lessee and sales, industrial matters, public relations, oont&cts with various local organizations and individuals and other miscellaneous matters Including sales of land and leases at xerato, California, all of these Railroad matters having been handled through the Manager of the Water Company &t Las Vegas, is a result of the handling in this office of Railroad matters as briefly outlined above, I have in this office m. accumulation of files and correspondence covering Railroad matters mentioned above which occupy a five-drawer metal filing ease which should be disposed of prior to the time this office is discontinued and the Water Company turned over to the Water District, which I understand will be on July 1, 195h. Will you please advise as quickly as possible what disposition should be made of the records referred to above. In this connection it Is my thought that these files should be either transferred to the Office of the local Railroad Superintendent or to the Office of the Manager of Properties at Los Angeles, LAM* ejjj L, R.
