Bates:) This refers to your letter of March 23, 195^, file 80-11, regarding statements showing additions and deductions from the Basic Purchase Price as of January 31, 19 5^. Herewith six additional copies of the statements, ’/which were sent to you with my letter of March 18, 195^. $2,297,116.1^ does not include adjustment for the tax prorate or the portion of the escrow charges to he borne by the Water District, however does include all charges taken into account as of January 31, 195^ and excludes any other items whieh may be taken into account thereafter and prior to the sale date. (a) on the statement includes an amount of $310.00, representing a donation,which will be excluded on final statement at the time of sale in accordance with your letter of March 9, 1954. Also the final statement at the time of sale, as stated in the second paragraph of my letter of March 18, 195^ will include figures which are not yet available, such as collections for water service connections, which connections have not been installed. The deduction applicable for this item as of Narch 22, 195^, amounts to $1,765.00, it is our intention to compile sale price figures at the close of each months accounts and such figures were compiled as of February 28, 195^. It is understood that the escrow will also include the $352,000 relocation fund.
