Mr. W, H. Hulsizer 2 April 21, 1953 or distribution facilities at Las Vegas he feels can properly be turned over to the District upon the sale date. Will he also please advise his views with respect to furnishing copies of records, the originals of which we are not willing to furnish. Also will he advise his views as to the extent to which we should permit the District to have inspection of records, the originals or copies of which will not be furnished to the District, It might be possible to satisfy a large portion of the District*s request by a contract obligation to allow inspection within a limited period after the sale date of certain types of records. 1 should like to have the reply contain a specific list of records because if we agree to furnish any records, it is my belief that we should specifically mention in the contract the records which will be furnished either in original form or copy form and the specific records which we would permit to be inspected after the sale date. Will Messrs. Perkins, Jurden and Adamson discuss this problem with each other and furnish toe with a list of the engineering records in their possession which they feel should be properly turned over to the District in either original or copy form or those records in their possession which they would permit the District to inspect. Will Messrs. Jurden and Smith also furnish me with similar information concerning the operating records referred to in the attached request of the District. Will Mr. Bates please furnish me with his views concerning the documents and records pertaining to easements and rights of way which can be turned over to the District in either original or copy form or which he thinks it is proper to allow the District to inspect* I should appreciate comments promptly because discussions are going on with the attorney for the District
