Such connection will be removed by the Railroad Companies jon or prior to the sale date. On or prior to the sale date Railroad Companies shall disconnect all of their distribution lines connecting at the above numbered points with the transmission and distribution lines to be sold to the District except the distribution line connecting at point marked 2. The District agrees that said existing line, connecting at point marked 2, or in the event Railroad Companies elect to disconnect said line, such other line or lines as may be agreed upon by the parties hereto and of an aggregate capacity not exceeding the capacity of said existing line, may remain or be connected to the water transmission and distribution lines of the District for the purpose of providing Railroad Companies with emergency standby water service.
