This will also apply to portion of the 8" C* I. Pipe lying in Shadow Street extended. The construction of 56* line as indicated on print could be used as part of the Water District plan to serve Worth Las Vegas through a 24” in Bonanaa Hoad, provided Railroad Com-pany is agreeable to granting a connection from East end of 36 line across Railroad Company property to Bonansa Road. II - Power Lines The question of removal of power lines was discussed informally with Mr. Lloyd H. Compton, Asst. General Manager of Southern Nevada Power Company, and he has indicated that a plwi could be readily worked out to eliminate the lines involved. Mr. Compton also stated that it was his opinion that in event following changes were made, the power rates for new layout could all be combined under existing agreement. The following suggestions are made for consideration and comments. I understand that the following changes, if mad*, would provide 4 wire 4160 Volt service instead of 5 wire 2300 Volt service now available. (1) Install substation at point "A". Railroad Company to construct line to connect with existing power line immediately north thereof. Note that this substation would be located on land which it is proposed to sell to Water District.
