« las Vegas, Eovuda April 19, 1929 subject; ccmuxm of hhi be* railroad crossing Mr* F« n* Knickerbocker, General Manager Hoi on Pacific System los Angeles, California Dear Slrf Acknowledging receipt of your Wire E-394 of 4t53 P* M, the 10th, and referring to conversation of a few moments ago* I have bad interview this morning with tbs Mayor and three of the City Commissioners, and they adviao that the Complaint of Mo Williams will bo postponed frost tonight’s mooting until such a time as It will be convenient for us, or our representatives, to meet with them at the some tine that McUilliame presents his Complaint. McWilliams’ Complaint concerns the crossing of the old road, which is lust a few feet last of the now crossing which wo recently put In after spur to Industrial Sites was finished. Els contention is that we are shutting him off altogether from the public highway, and were we to close this road at both ends we would undoubtedly do that, but there is no reason why legally we cannot fence in our own property. However, this is a matter entirely for the legal Deportment to decide upon, and as soon as Loo returns, I will consult him about when it will bo convenient for us to meet with the City Commissioners.
