Lae Vegas, Hevada, August 28, 1923. Hr. £• E. Calvin, President, Las Vegas Land & Water Co., Omaha, Hebraska. Lear Sir: X have delayed further correspondence vith you in reference to the sale of acreage west of the townslie, which was originally sold under agreement to W. E* Haskins, on account of trying to follow out your personal instructions in trying to have Hr. Hawkins assign his agreement over to a prospective buyer. But Hr. Hawkins has now decided that he would rather not take up the agreement and then assign it and, if you so approve, I would like to sell for immediate!delivery under the same terms and conditions as per Hr. Hawkins agree* ment, to Leslie B. Saunders, 64.8 acres of this land which lies directly east of the Bussell Banch, and retain the 28.8 acres lying adjacent to and south of the Bussell Banch for a future sale to John L. Bussell, who is making a very urgent request that I hold this land for him for a few months; and X feel very much inclined to do so, as Hr* Bussell has thorough* ly improved his ranch and it is one of the best alfalfa producing ranches around Las Vegas. As above stated, Hr. Saunders is ready at once to close agreement on the 64.8 acres and if you will approve the sale, X will have agreements drawn up as I did in the Hawkins case and close the transaction. fours truly, B/H CC--W.H.
