Mr. Kenney advises 3/4 inch meter instead of 5/8 meter installed for him. (The first meters were installed on December 18th., and the last ones on January 11th. As we have been issuing water hills and collecting them durning the month used, it is not clear to me just how we should proceed • Demember hills had been made up and large portion of them collected before we received contracts . In fact all but nine, were collected before December 31st. There were 54 users, for month of December, while, due to connections being made so as to reduce number of meter installations, there were but 52 meters installed. furnishing water to residents at Yermo, bills have been rendered y only for houses acoupied, vacant houses not being charged, and there has been a difference in rates when occupied by employees and non-employees * $1 .#0 per month for emidoyee tenants and $2*50 for non-employee tenants. Considering the conditions mentioned above, should we make our bills for January same as heretofore, without reference J\ to meter readings, and for subsequent months use meter readings starting with our bills from meter reading as of February 1st? If [ not, please instruct how they should be issued. We have not yet read any meters to date. y There has been a 5/8 meter instakked for Yermo School i I District, for which we have not received a contract. Please advise relative to this user? We have been collecting $2.50 per month for tract 1867 and 1 f orXJ.K.White, lot 12, blosk/1867, all of which have been returned to you previously, account these parties living which I sent to Agent las'Vegas, to secure signature, as Mr. Wenger lives at that point. Believe the contracts properly describe size of meters As long as Union Pacific and LAS VEGAS L&W CO have been their water.
