Union P a c ific , et a l . 10 , December 10, 1952 5* If the ledger value on the sale date of the automo­tiv e, shop and other equipment, materials and supplies trans­ferred to t he Dis tr ic t by Las Vegas Land and Water Company ex ceeds th e(ledger)value of such property owned by said Compan on September 1, 1952, the excess shall be added to the basic purchase price. If the (ledger)value on the sale date of sueh property is less than the ) value as of September 1,1952 the difference shall be deducted from the basic purchase price It is also understood that the fin al contract for the purchase and sale of the properties referred to in Section 1 hereof shall provide for the disposition of the amounts standing on the books of the Las Vegas Land and Water Company on the sale date in such accounts as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Pay­able, Advance Payment of Water Rental, e tc ., and w ill fur­ther provide for adjustments in the basic purchase priee by reason of the disposition of the amounts in said accounts. 6. It is further understood that Las Vegas Land and Water Company has outstanding contracts whereby certain sub­dividers or applicants (a) have deposited sums of money with it as advances for the construction of water mains, or (b) have at their own expense constructed and con­veyed to Las Vegas Land and Water Company water mains
