    Re: A d d i t i o n s and Be t t e r m e n t s to the Las Vegas L a n d and W ter Company System Los -Angeles - Novem b e r 16, 1953 Mr. C. M. Cory - Las Vegas As a m a t t e r of in f o r m a t i o n in the event the subject should b e d i s c u s s e d with you, I attach hereto copy of letter from the Las Vegas Valley Water District to Mr. R inhardt, da t e d N o v e m b e r 7th, on the above subject, and copy of Mr. R g i n h a r d t ’s reply, dated Nove m b e r 13th. Frankly, I do not think this exchange of correspondence will result in any change in the D i s t r i c t ’s insistence that we secure three bids on these contracts. I have talked b o t h to Mr. H a m i l t o n and Mr. M o n t g o m e r y and i n t i m a t e d that I thought they were quite technical in suggesting this three b i d p r o p o s i tion, as I could not d i f f e rentiate in the situation before the bonds were v o t e d and after the bonds were voted since the Water Company is still oper a t e d by us and not b y the District. However, Mr. R inhardt felt we should go on r e c o r d expressing our views, and for that reason I suggested the letter of November 13th. E. E. Bennett
