Montgomery, application W23-*l~141, for the installation of 475-feet of 6-inch cast iron water main to serve a portion of Block 1, Boulder Dam Homesite Addition. Mr. Montgomery has approved the application subject to receipt of the three bids as requested by the Board of the Las Vegas Valley Water District. In view of the objection of your Company to this procedure, the matter was again taken up with the entire Board at our last meeting and after some discussion it was felt that as a public body dispensing public funds, we should maintain our position of asking for the bids.
