Dear Mr. Maagi We have received from our Engineer, Mr. James M, Montgomery, Application 1-23-1-141 for the installation of 475 feet of 6-inch oast iron water main to serve a portion of Block 1, Boulder Dam Homesits Addition. Mr. Montgomery has approved the application subject to receipt of three (3) bids as requested by the Board of Directors of the Las Vegas Valley Water District. In view of the objection of your Company to this procedure, the matter was again taken up with 'toe entire Board at our last meeting and after some discussion it was felt that as a public body dispensing public funds we should maintain our position of asking for toe three (3) bids.
