Operating expenses during the same period, not including federal income taxes, amounted to $8,471.84; $18,739.73* $29,939.40; $22,408.58, respectively. Included in the total expenditures for the year 1946 is the sum of approximately $10,000 ior the relining of the upper reservoir walls. Federal income taxes paid during the same years were $1,622,00; $5,293.00; $2,622.00; and $6,388.00, respectively. The net operating income, after deducting federal income taxes, was $3,781.68 in 1944; $12,655.95 in 1945; ?ii>5,437.02 in 1946; and $10,824.97 for the year 1947.
