I have just received the following from Mr. Knickerbocker nReferring to Mr. Adamson’s letter February 24 to me, copy to you, regarding proposed increase in water rates at Las Vegas: At the meeting in your office February 20, I believe it was decided that Mr. Bracken would submit to you revised proposed schedules. I should like to inquire as to the status of the matter at this time*M The action of the Legislature in prohibiting the use of water meters in towns of over 4,500 population will necessitate a change in our application if it is determined that this legislation is good and free from any constitutional object- ions. I wish you and Walter would consider it and advise what, if anything, has been done in making up the rates necessary to comply with the wishes of the management. FRM-MK cc Mr. F. H.
