PARKER, INSPECTOR Public Service Commission of Nevada Carson City OUR FILE y~ YOUR FILE June 13, 1931 \ Mr* Walter Bracken., General Manager Las Vegas Land & Water Company Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Mr* Brackens Herewith enclosed is bill for $90*20 from Mrs* Marie D* McIntyre, to cover cost of reporting and transcribing record of hearing taken in the matter of increased water rates filed by the Las Vegas Land and Water Company held at Las Vegas, May 28 and 29* Will you kindly be good enough to see that this bill is promptly paid to Mrs* McIntyre* Ordinarily the commission makes a division of the cost of reporters per diem and transcript between the parties, but inasmuch as the protestants who gave testimony are patrons of your company, and inasmuch as both your company and the commission were desirous of securing the reaotion which they brought out at the hearing regarding the proposed increased rates, I doubt the advisability of assessing any portion of the oost against them* If you feel that a portion of the coat should be born^T for such testimony as they had to offer, we will, upon advise from you, make payment on behalf of the commission, direct to Mrs* McIntyre* Awaiting your consideration, and with best wishes, we are CC - Mr* F* R.
