Does this investment include the cost of various houses rented to railroad employees, the cost of the las Yagas land and Water company rooming house rented to railroad employees, and the cost of the Das Yegas Land and Water company mains serving part of the citizens of Las Vegas? Please furnish details. I will state for your information that I am quite familiar with municipal water works systems from having surveyed out and constructed a few, including a water works and sewer system for the United States Government some years ago, and was highly commended from Washington, D. C. on the thoroughness and neat workmanship. Any assistance which you can give me towards making a fair report to our Committee of Citizens and Finance Commissioner of Las Vegas City Council on thw water service, fire protection service, and rates charged will be greatly appreciated. My former letter stated that the reservoir supplying the Las Yegas Land and Water Company mains is on 70 feet higher ground
