Morgan » Audit Section SUBJECT: Voucher for April, May and June, 1948 Inasmuch as I have only recently taken over the audit of miscellaneous vouchers, please bear with me if I ask you inconsequential questions; however, there appears to be a discrepancy in the exact location being serviced by yeur company, for which you bill the Office of the Housing 'Expediter, Records of this office indicate that the space properly chargeable to OHE funds is, *127 South Main Street’, and that the spaoe from 123 to 125 South Main Street, was relinquished in February, 1947. In view of this fact, it seems that clarification should be made as to the actual service being rendered the Government* Previous vouchers submitted by you, bearing the identification, ’for water service at 123 South Main Street’, have been paid, however, in the interest of olarity and for the purpose of maintaining an accurate journal, it is requested that you check your records to ascertain the. exact address to which you are furnishing service for the Office of the Housing Expediter* Returned herewith is subject voucher, since I will be unable to process it for payment until the end of June, and should a correction be neces*> sary, you will have it for reference.
