Again, the whole thought of the Commission in that matter is to save water* We preached that for years down here, and if we can prevail upon the Union Pacific to assist in saving water, why then, we have done something for this community* MR. BENNSTTt Z might state it was our thought, Mr, Commissioner, in submitting this new tariff, to have two sets of rates—one for re-use of the water, and one without, and the one without would be higher. They have a City ordinance requiring that but whether or not it is enforced, it's up to Mr. Cannon — but two sets of rates to permit re-use of the water— and the tariff did propose a rate for evaporative coolers. We can put it in the other tariff and make it high and see what happens. Mr. Johnson advises me in the ice machines that there are quite a few small units.,,if you can make it from one to 10, or break it down further, or let us use our own judgment, CHAIRMAN* We will add to that, by inference, from one to 10 ton, and from 10 ton to 100 ton. That will give you the smaller machines and the larger machines as well. The Order will Include that Rule 21 be suspended pending the approval of the new rates# Las Vegas, JCevada, October 9, 1952,
