Dear <$ir: I am enclosing herewith copy of letters sent this date to the lay or and City commissioners of Las Vegas, and to the Editor of the Review, with reference to stopping the abuse of wasting water. % e n .in Carson City Monday, I had an interview/ with Mr* diianghnessy of the ublic Service Com mission and he made one or two very helpful suggestions which I would like to present to you an&w|ir. - Bennett when in town *%turday. 1 feel that Shaugh- nessy will go the limit with us in correcting this and one or two other misuses of water such as is being indulged in by those who have installed sprinkler systems .on, their garages' and hotel roofs, running continually 34 hours, per day. “9* She boys in the office have computed the amount of water being used per sprinkler head for those purposes and I will be able to show you some astounding figures of the cost to us of this waste of water.
