Las Vegas* Bev., Oct. 25, 1919. Mr. J. Ross Clark, President, Lae Vegas L. & W. Co., Los Angeles, Calif* Dear Sirs- Situated in the northeast quarter of the southeast quarter of Seotion 31 which is land lying around our springs whioh supply the town, is a small water mound. X have a buyer for this piece of ground if the same is for sale, and the purchaser would agree to take the same in the condition it is now and not drill any well* thereon for water. This ground is on what is known as a high water mound, and he advises he wants to purchase the same for a residence. I myself would be of the opinion that we had better not die pose of this piece of ground for fear of sometime in the future somebody getting hold of same who would bore for Artesian water the<on, which might affect the flow of our present springs. However, if you think it advisable to dispose of this pie.ee:of ground please place price on the same and advise me. Yours truly, Vice Pres. & Agent.
