Las Vega.®, Nevada, J u ly 29, 1922. Mr. W. H. Comstock; General Manager, Los Angeles & Salt Lake B. B. Co., Los Angeles, California* Bear Sir: Acknowledging receipt of your letter of July with enclosures from Mr. Carey and Mr. Maguire in reference to furnishing water to the Pacifio Fruit Express plant here at Las Vegas. I note particularly the contents of Mr. Miller's letter to Mr. Carey and would recommend that we go after the ice plant, urging them very strongly to sink a well on their own property, as was contemplated toy their former Manager,. Mr. Pnillips, a year or so age. There is no doubt in the world tout that they will get sufficient artesian water for their use in the plant and, as we are at this season of the year and will be in the future, short of water for our Railroad and townsite purposes, it will only toe a matter of a very short time until we will have to cancel our now existing agreement with them. Tours truly B/H Vice-President & Agent,
