I do not understand that the completion of the pipe line is going to he of very much as si ance in increasing the pressure, although it may eliminate some of the waste. Chances are that the principal cause of lank of pressure is the prodigal use of water in the town for irrigating purposes, etc., a situation which is very difficult to control. In regard to ?fr* Bracken's suggestion, as to the purchase of the Connelly well* I am very skeptical of the advisability of purchasing somebody's else well* It wiildo no hurra, however, to have an invests gation made, hut we should move very cautiously on a proposal of this kind.
